隐私政策

This privacy policy applies exclusively to our website (www.ruggli.com) ("website") and subdomains in the format subdomain.ruggli.com. 2. Processing of personal data

We only collect the following data as part of your customer profile:

  • All information that you explicitly provide in the context of an enquiry (name, address, age, gender, contact details, etc.);
  • IP address
  • Browser version and type used;
  • Date and time of your visit or enquiry and referrer URL (the page you visited previously);
  • Operating system and provider.

The cookies we use on our website can be found at the end of this privacy policy under the heading "Cookies".

We do not use profiling on our website in the sense of automated processing of personal data, which consists of using this data to evaluate certain aspects of your personality (e.g. for analyses or predictions regarding work performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or change of location) , and we only collect or process particularly sensitive personal data (e.g. about religious, political or philosophical beliefs, health, etc.) in exceptional cases and, if so, only to the extent necessary to fulfil contractual or legal obligations.

3. Use of your personal data and disclosure to third parties

Your personal data will only be processed on the website in connection with a request you have submitted, for the purpose of correcting errors or improving our website, and, where applicable, for internal statistical purposes.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. This does not include our service partners who we need to process the contractual relationship (e.g. financial institutions for processing payments, the postal service, courier services or shipping companies for sending materials, cloud services for providing and ensuring the digital infrastructure, etc.). In these cases, we strictly observe the provisions of the applicable data protection laws. The scope of data transfer is limited to a minimum.

We only consider using service partners in countries other than Switzerland or the member states of the European Economic Area if the country in question either has an equivalent level of data protection in accordance with the Federal Council's list of countries at , or if we can contractually ensure the equivalence of the level of protection (e.g. through contracts or the conclusion of so-called standard contractual clauses).

4. Communications, notifications and updates

  • Communication for advertising purposes: We may send you marketing content about our website, services and products, as well as products that we offer together with our partners and products and services from third parties, via various communication channels such as email, SMS, pop-ups, push notifications and messaging applications. You can unsubscribe from this advertising by following the instructions contained in the communications you receive from us. You can also opt out of receiving advertising in the future by sending a message to info@ruggli.com.
  • For informational and other purposes: We send you communications that are required or necessary for all customers, notifications containing important information, and other communications you request from us. You cannot unsubscribe from these communications. However, you may be able to adjust the media and format in which you receive notifications.

We use the newsletter application WebTool-Newsletter from Weserve AG, Liebefeld, Switzerland. This tool allows us to track movements on our website (so-called heat maps).

For example, it shows how far users scroll and which buttons they click on and how often. The tool also allows us to obtain feedback directly from website users. This provides us with valuable information that we can use to make our website even faster and more customer-friendly.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to provide certain functions and to analyse usage. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and contain information that enables your browser to be recognised.

a. Types of cookies used

Technically necessary cookies

These cookies are necessary to enable basic functions of the website, such as managing sessions or storing language settings.

  • CFID and CFTOKEN: These are used for session management and are set when you visit the website.
  • CKFinder_Path: Stores path information for file management.
  • Zapatec.Tree-null: Stores UI settings (e.g. tree structure elements).

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

We use the web analytics service Google Analytics to improve our offering and for statistical analysis of the use of our website. The following cookies are used for this purpose:

  • _ga: Used to distinguish between users (storage duration: 2 years).
  • _gid: Used to distinguish users over a short period of time (storage duration: 24 hours).

The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in Switzerland or the EU and stored there. Storage in the USA is also not completely excluded – however, Google is certified in accordance with the applicable Data Privacy Framework.

The IP address is anonymised before transmission.

Further information on data protection at Google can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

b. Consent and control

When you first visit our website, you will be informed about the use of cookies. You can revoke your consent to the use of analysis cookies at any time or prevent storage by adjusting the settings in your browser.

c. Storage period

The storage duration of cookies varies depending on the type. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while other cookies may remain stored for up to two years.

6. Storage of your personal data

a. Server locations

Our website is hosted by Weserve AG, Liebefeld, Switzerland. Weserve uses rented server locations in Switzerland. The servers are located exclusively in Switzerland and are only accessible to authorised personnel of the operator. They are protected against unauthorised access to the best of our knowledge and state of the art. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss as far as possible.

Insofar as your personal data is concerned, which we collect directly, it is stored on our own and rented servers in Switzerland. This also includes virtual servers from a reputable cloud provider. All servers used are located in Switzerland and are protected against unauthorised access to the best of our knowledge and using state-of-the-art technology. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss as far as possible.

b. Retention period

We only store your data for as long as is legally required or necessary for the purpose of processing. In the case of analyses, we store your data until the analysis is complete. If we store data on the basis of a contractual relationship with you, this data will be stored for at least as long as the contractual relationship exists and at most for as long as the limitation periods for possible claims on our part expire or statutory or contractual storage obligations exist. As a rule, the retention period does not exceed 10 years (calculated from the end of the contractual or factual relationship with you).

7. Information and access, correction and transfer

You have the right to obtain information about and access your stored data free of charge at any time, as well as the right to correction. We will protect your data protection rights unless we are required to restrict or deny one of your aforementioned rights due to a legal obligation or a legitimate interest. To exercise your rights, in particular your right to information, please contact us. You will find our contact details in section 1 of this privacy policy.

You also have the right to request the transfer of your electronically stored personal data to another controller free of charge. Please note, however, that we cannot adapt your data to any special format requirements of another controller and will not transfer your business history or passwords under any circumstances.

8. Revocation and deletion

You may revoke your consent to this privacy policy at any time and request the deletion of your personal data, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain it or an overriding interest on our part. Please contact us for this purpose. You will find our contact details in section 1 of this privacy policy.

If you request deletion, we will block and disable your profile. Please note, however, that we are required by commercial and tax law to retain accounting records for at least 10 financial years. We are therefore unable to delete or edit the personal data contained in these documents. Your request for deletion therefore only applies to future processing and only to personal data that we do not process on the basis of a legal justification, but exclusively on the basis of your consent.

If contractual relationships are still pending at the time of receipt of your revocation and deletion request, your personal data will continue to be processed until the contract has been fully executed. Your revocation under data protection law has no influence on the execution of existing contractual relationships and does not constitute an extraordinary reason for termination.

9. Complaints to a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority at the registered office of the controller if you believe that we have violated a provision of the GDPR. The Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch) is responsible for complaints from data subjects.

10. Amendments to this privacy policy

Changes to this privacy policy are effective from the time they are published on our website. Personal data collected under an older privacy policy will be processed in accordance with this privacy policy.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time and to inform customers of the changes in an appropriate manner.
